Blaine flopped onto the bed in defeat.

“It’s over, Rachel! I’ll never see him again!” From her position at the desk, Rachel sighed at her brother’s melodrama. Usually she would be the one crying and wailing about someone or something. Now that she had to listen to it, she realised how annoying it actually was.

“Blaine, you will. Kurt’s just… he can overreact sometimes. He loves you- I know he does -and he will come around.”

“Rach, I basically cheated on him. He’ll never trust me again.” Blaine moaned.

“No, you didn’t! You weren’t the one doing the kissing, right?” Blaine opened an eye, curious as to where Rachel was going with this.

“…No, I wasn’t…”

“So Kurt shouldn’t be mad at you. Sebastian is the one to blame.” Blaine sat up and looked Rachel in the eyes.

“I was already in Kurt’s bad books with Sebastian, but this… this is inexcusable. I just… I don’t know what to do!” Rachel sighed again.

“Listen to me, Blaine. Kurt loves you, and I doubt he’ll stop because of this. He knows how much you care about him. Sebastian can’t ever stop that. He can try, but you and Kurt are meant to be.” Blaine smiled involuntarily and laughed.

“I guess… I just… I hope you’re right.”

Standing up and walking over to the ex Warbler, Rachel stooped down and hugged him. Blaine easily returned the hug, pulling her down onto the bed. Rachel shrieked and giggled as she hit the mattress. She rolled onto her stomach next to her brother and ruffled his hair.

“Ew. You need to stop using gel, Blainers.”

“I will, once you stop wearing animal sweaters.” Rachel gasped.

“How dare you!?” Blaine laughed, a proper laugh this time.

“Thank you.” Rachel propped herself up on her elbow.

“What for?”

“For this. For being here for me, now. … Just for being my sister.” Rachel grinned.

“I’ll always help you, Blaine. We’re family. That’s what family is for.”
